Our environmental attorneys have more than 25 years of experience in complex environmental litigation at all federal and state trial and appellate levels.
We have served as special litigation counsel for a variety of public and private sector clients involving a broad array of environmental laws and regulations. This experience includes multi-party cleanup and cost recovery actions under CERCLA (Superfund) and state laws, water pollution cases under the Clean Water Act and state laws, air pollution cases under federal and state statutes, and defense of enforcement cases instituted by federal, state and local agencies. Our environmental litigation practice also includes extensive experience before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings involving issuance or denial of environmental permits and challenges to agency rules.
- Litigating and defending environmental matters in federal and state courts and before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings
- Multi-party CERCLA or superfund actions
- Clean Water Act suits
- Endangered Species Act litigation
We're also involved in other actions involving comprehensive planning, air pollution, wetlands permitting and consumptive use. We assist clients in actions to enjoin unlawful activities, compel cleanup of contamination caused by others and to recover cleanup costs. Close coordination with scientists and expert witnesses helps us meet our clients' objectives.
