Ms. Rojas-Belandia is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and Venezuela, and limits her Florida practice to immigration matters only, including employment-based petitions and applications (E-2, L-1A, H-1B, R-1, among others), family-based immigration matters, and consular processing.
Ms. Rojas-Belandia is a native of Venezuela and speaks Spanish and English fluently. She graduated from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas in 1990 with a Juris Doctor degree. Before immigrating in 1997, she was General Manager of the condominium association of Administradora C.C.T., S.A., the largest commercial and professional building complex in Venezuela at the time. After settling in Miami, she served as a paralegal at various firms and has been with Katz Barron since 2008.
Ms. Rojas-Belandia is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (full membership pending), and the Venezuelan American National Bar Association.
