Attorney Scott L. Cagan Joins Katz Barron as Member
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - July 15, 2004 — South Florida litigation attorney Scott L. Cagan has joined the law firm Katz Barron as a Member. He is based in the firm's Ft. Lauderdale office.
Cagan has more than 14 years of experience in South Florida's legal community, practicing in the areas of labor and employment, non-competition and unfair competition law, trade secret protection, lender liability and complex commercial litigation. He represents clients in both Federal and State Courts.
Cagan has authored numerous professional articles, some of which have been cited by U.S. Courts of Appeal and District Courts. His articles have been published in the Banking Law Journal, Litigation Magazine, Federal Bar News & Journal, The Florida Bar Journal, and The New York State Bar Journal, among other publications.
Cagan is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He earned his law degree in 1988, magna cum laude, from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in 1985 from Lehigh University. From 1988 1990, he served as Judicial Clerk to the late Hon. Lenore Nesbitt, U.S. District Judge, Southern District of Florida.
Born in Hempstead, NY, Cagan currently lives in Pembroke Pines.
