Katz Barron Attorney Desirée Cuason Appointed Editor Of The Florida Bar Tax Bulletin

MIAMI, FL - Desirée M. Cuason, an Associate Attorney with the South Florida law firm Katz Barron, has been appointed Editor of the Tax Bulletin of The Florida Bar. Cuason will serve for a two-year term, effective with the September 2005 edition.

The Tax Bulletin is a quarterly newsletter published by the Tax Section of The Florida Bar, reporting timely news and articles of interest to its Members. Cuason formerly served as Vice Editor of the Bulletin and has co-authored articles published in previous editions.

Cuason is based in Katz Barron's Miami office and practices in the areas of business & corporate law, international & domestic taxation, and international business transactions. She holds an LLM in Taxation, with a Certificate of Specialization in International Tax, from the University of Miami School of Law. She earned her law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law, earning numerous honors including multiple book awards and inclusion in the Who's Who Among America's Law Students for 3 years.

A resident of Miami, Cuason is tri-lingual - fluent in Chinese and English with conversational capability in Spanish. She is a Member of the Florida-China Chamber of Commerce, and serves as a Project Coordinator and Volunteer for Hands On Miami, as well as a Volunteer for the Wildlife Care Center in Broward County.
